Our board of directors shares one common belief. Children should start learning another language at an early age. The board helps guides us on how to spread world language education in New Hampshire and Maine.

Yasmine Parsons graduated from Georgetown University and has a background in marketing and design before moving to Durham, NH. Having grown up speaking French at home, it was a natural fit for her to become a French teacher for One World Language School where she taught for five years to children in Kindergarten to 8th grade of varying academic levels. Even though she no longer teaches French, her passion for languages and the need to promote language learning for all children even at an early age remains strong and she became a board member for OWLS. This year is her sixth year on the board and she loves it. She also works part-time at UNH’s The Browne Center, coordinating experiential learning programs for students in elementary, middle school, high school, and university levels. She also does computer graphics and photography there. Yasmine is married and the mother of three children
